Monika has been cooperating with Kulikowska & Kulikowski since 2003. Her focus areas are, among others, litigation relating to pharmaceutical law, industrial and intellectual property, in particular patent and copyright law as well as unfair competition matters conducted before common and administrative courts, the Polish Patent Office and before prosecution and customs authorities.
In her everyday practice she is also engaged in counselling, drafting legal opinions and agreements relating to industrial and intellectual property, competition and copyright law. She prepares patent infringement strategies for the clients, including transnational issues. Compared to other lawyers, she has a unique ability to understand technical issues and how they relate to the legal sphere. She conducts administrative proceedings on patent invalidations for the clients from the technology and pharmaceutical industry. Monika is also the head of our firm’s criminal practice; thanks to the system she has implemented, clients protect their brands in an effective and low-cost manner, and obtain damages from manufacturers’ counterfeit products.
Monika is the Chairperson of the Disciplinary Court of Appeals of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys and an active member of professional body for Polish patent and trademark attorneys. She is also engaged in AIPPI and EPI’s Professional Conduct Committee. She conducts trainings and lectures in this area for students and trainees, as well as for the police and customs officers. Monika is a co-author of a Commentary to Industrial Property Law published by C.H. Beck in 2014 and 2020. She has also published in various foreign magazines, such as IAM and World Trademark Review, eg. „New and improved IP law provisions benefit entrepreneurs” in: IAM Yearbook 2018 Building IP value in the 21st century as well as Trademark Litigation in Poland in WTR. Monika has been with Kulikowska & Kulikowski since 2000. Her focus areas are, among others, litigation relating to industrial property protection and combating unfair competition before common and administrative courts and the Polish Patent Office, counselling, drafting legal opinions and agreements relating to industrial and intellectual property protection.
She is a lecturer in the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys within patent and trademark attorney training as well as in the H. Grocjusz Center for Intellectual Property Rights in Cracow. Monika has been elected to the National Council of Patent Attorneys, and appointed Chair of the Application Committee in the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys . She is also a Vice head of IP Department in the Warsaw Bar Association.
Monika is also a co-author of a Commentary to Industrial Property Law published by C.H. Beck, 2016.
She actively participates in international conferences organized by INTA (International Trademark Association), notably within Unfair Competition Committee.

Paweł has been with Kulikowska & Kulikowski since 2000. He is involved in mediations and counselling on matters related to protection of copyright, trademarks, trade names, geographical indications and competition law.
Paweł is an active member of MARQUES (The Association of European Trade Mark Owners – member of Famous and Well Known Marks Team) and ECTA (European Communities Trademark Association), international organizations promoting and developing the protection of industrial property rights. He has also been elected to Disciplinary Court of Appeals of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys.

Beata has been with Kulikowska & Kulikowski since 2000. Adrianna has been working with Kulikowska & Kulikowski since 2011, where she specializes in preparing litigation strategies and conducting litigation proceedings especially regarding patents and industrial designs.
She has also mastered the arts of proceedings with the Polish Patent Office and Administrative courts during invalidation and opposition proceedings. Her open mind and creativity is appreciated by our clients who require counselling in the field of pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, FMCG where Adrianna’s in-depth knowledge on agreements on transfer of rights, including copyrights, can bloom at its finest. She earned a Ph.D. degree with honors in nanomaterials.

Dariusz has been cooperating with Kulikowska & Kulikowski since 2008. The main areas of his activity are chemistry, particularly chemical technology and inorganic chemistry. He is also active in the field of mechanics, metallurgy, construction, industrial processes (including ceramic materials technology) and transport.
Dariusz earned a Ph.D. degree in technology of inorganic materials at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Warsaw University of Technology – specialization in new methods of forming of aluminum oxide-based ceramic materials.
He conducts patent searches, prepares patent opinions in his main fields of activity, competence and education (as above). Dariusz also prepares patent descriptions and filing applications in the areas belonging to his main areas of expertise, drafts responses and correspondence in matters before the Patent Office and prepares validations of European patents and translation of patent descriptions.
